Very High Security Shallow Foundation Barricades. The DSC501 hydraulic Barricade system consists of a wedge barrier ramp operated by a hydraulic power unit via hydraulic cylinders. Single or multiple barricades may be operated by a single hydraulic power unit to yield pass through rates of 3 to 15 seconds per inspection and identification station specifications. The DSC501 has been certified by the US Department of Defense and US Department of State at the K12. Crash testing shows this system to be fully operational after successfully stopping a vehicle weighing 15,000lb\ 67kn at 50mph\80kph. |

Drop Arm Barrier. The IP500 Drop Arm barrier is a portable drop-arm beam barrier which can be quickly and Easley installed with hydraulic or manual versions. It can be filled with sand, cement or gravel once in place. This system can be installed on concrete and asphalt roadways. The barrier's height is 34 inches with a raising and lowering capability in 12 seconds. The IP500 secures throughway with 8 to 15 feet width or a clear opening of 120 to 180 inches and has the demonstrated capability to stop and disable a 1500lb (6800kg) vehicle at 30mph (48kph) in under 20feet (6 meters). It's crash test rated at K4 certification level by the US Department of State. |

DSC1100
Provides security against vehicle-based terrorism or thefts for high-cycle locations such as the entrances to large office facilities, government agencies and military bases. Able to be deployed in high traffic locations for full manual or automatic operation within two hours, Delta Scientific's quick deployment modular Series DSC1100 Barricade features a phalanx-type rising plate wedge barrier mounted within multiple inertial pods. The plate barrier lies level to the ground to allow vehicles to pass and is raised or lowered into position utilizing a hydraulic cylinder driven by a Delta Hydraulic Power Unit or manually operated. The weight of the Plate Barrier is balanced by a Hydraulic-pneumatic balance system (U.S. Patent # 5,560,733 dated 10/1/96). The Hydraulic Pumping Unit can be sized to provide pass-through rates suitable for most inspection and identification station requirements. The unfilled pods weigh less than 700 pounds (318 kg) and consist of a permanent steel housing back-filled with local concrete either in situ or remotely. Each Pod has fork-lift slots for moving and positioning. Pods can be moved using a small forklift, pallet jack, crane or handcart. They can be set on paved roads and driveways, undisturbed soil or any combination. No excavation or foundation is required. Portable Crash Wedge Barrier. The MP5000 is a portable high security anti-terrorist vehicle crash wedge barrier. Once towed this quickly installed wedge barrier into position. A battery operated hydraulic power system lowers and raises the ramp. The system is a push-button controlled from the wedge barrier. Barrier height is 30 inches with a stander clear opening. The MP5000 received a crash test certification level of K4 by the US Department of State for its ability to stop and disable a 1500lb GVW vehicle at 30mph. Horizontal Beam Barrier H-30
The Horizontal Beam Barrier™ (HBB) is an attractive, visible electronically operated steel beam barrier for controlling or barring vehicular traffic. The beam is lowered to surface level to permit traffic flow or raised and secured at 34 inches to stop traffic. The HBB can be operated remotely from a central security monitoring station with optional CCTV or can be controlled from a manned check point. For unmanned control, options include any standard access control system. A hand crank is offered as an option to allow the barrier gate to be raised manually in the event of a prolonged power interruption or for manually operated units. At locations where the ability to deny access is important, the HBB provides security features not available in other barriers. The HBB was designed to stop a 15,000 lb. vehicle traveling at 50 mph, and has an operating mechanism designed to prevent heavy damage to the system when impacted. A crash rating certification will be provided.

Crop Arm Gate
The Drop Arm Gate is a robust and highly effective improvement on the traditional drop arm gate design. All the important features of the traditional design have been retained and upgraded to DOS crash standards.
It functions like the typical drop arm gate but because of its heavy duty construction and use of high quality parts it provides the ultimate in drop arm gate protection. The Drop Arm Gate can be custom designed to provide the desired length and crash rating. Constructed of galvanized steel they are available in a variety of finishes including powder coating. The unique fully vertical position (90° up) to allow for unobstructed use of the roadway and safe positioning of the arm. This design includes a device for positively locking the arm in the down position. It also features a totally passive mechanical safety latching mechanism that engages on vehicle impact. Super Post and Cable Fence
The Superpost and Cable Fence is a counter-intrusion system that can be installed in areas to prevent vehicular traffic for security reasons. The Superpost and Cable Fence is an energy absorbing, horizontal barrier system that is capable of snaring a vehicle and preventing entry. It consists of two or more superpost assemblies joined together by two or more cable assemblies. The cable assemblies may be run through the superpost or through eyes attached to the superpost.
